"Cheese" and green bell pepper filling
Who doesn’t like a sandwich, right?
Another hungry morning, and I was thinking about making something different than I usually eat every morning (bread and “butter”).
It’s been cold lately, so I decided to make a hot sandwich, but what would the filling be?
Here are the ingredients:
1/2 small green bell pepper (organic is better and you can add as much as you like)
1 cup of mozzarella shreds (I used the brand Daiya)
Garlic powder (to taste)
Oregano (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Salt? (to taste) – I usually don’t like too much salt in my food, and I haven’t used any for this recipe, especially if I feel there’s no need for that, but it’s up to you.
I chopped the bell pepper, and on a warm fry pan (low heat), I added the “cheese”, the garlic powder, the oregano and the black pepper. Mix everything and let it sit until it gets melty. Meanwhile, I toasted my toasts and added the melty “cheese”.
That’s it! That’s all! Ready to eat!
If you try this, tell me about it.
